Description

The TB30 ASTM D1838 is designed to test the corrosiveness to copper of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG). The TB30 conforms to ASTM D1838, EN/ISO 6251, IP411, BS2000 Part 411, BS6924, NF M41-007.

The TB30 offers maximum four positions for the corrosion test cylinders. The TB30 offers extemely stable temperature control, to a maximum of +80°C (176°F). The temperature can be set in 0.01°C. The bath is equipped with a cooling coil, which can be connected to a cooling circulator. However, the TB30 is designed to work at 37.8°C without the use of a cooling circulator. With a special cover, the bath can also be used for tests according to ASTM D130. The bath conforms to CE regulation. It further is equipped with a mechanical and resettable safety thermostat and has a float to warn the user when the level of the bath fluid has become too low. Furthermore, the cover in the TB30 has openings, so that the user can visually check the LPG cylinder when it is in the bath.
