The TV4000DC bath is specially designed for tests that require a extremely precise temperature control and need to be followed visually, e.g. determination of kinematic viscosity (conforms to ASTM D445, IP 71), thermometer and sensor calibration, density and reaction rate measurement, etc. The TV4000DC is able to achieve a temperature stability of 0.002°C @ 40°C. All wetted parts are made of stainless steel and brass, providing resistance against all usual bath fluids. The bath is fitted with adjustable feet for leveling. The bath is equipped with two windows. The TV4000 is maintenance free and designed to run with minimal operational costs.
The TV4000DC can be operated from ambient +5 up to +230°C (..446°F). With the use of the built-in cooling coil, sub ambient temperatures down to +5°C can be achieved. The bath is equipped with both a drain and an overflow outlet. Also the viscosity bath is equipped with a float that will switch off the bath when the level of the bath fluid is too low. The bath conforms to CE-regulation. Further the bath is equipped with a mechanical over temperature protection. Optionally, the bath can be equipped with a Z41 backpanel illuminator to improve visibility. The TV4000DC can be supplied with a levelling platform and a metal calibration block that provides an even better temperature stability. This metal block can be used to calibrate sensors or thermometers.
